dont be ashamed

Don’t be Ashamed.

Paul writes to young Timothy, “So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner.” (2 Tim. 1:8) “Ashamed” is being afraid or feeling shame which prevents one from doing, saying or being. Paul sensed his young disciple was showing signs of apprehension and shame because of the affliction, persecutions and trials of the Gospel. Paul told Timothy, “Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed…” (v.12) Paul had an absolute, beyond a doubt knowledge that Jesus was true, real and genuine. Because of this, Paul was a bright light in his dark world. Don’t hide your light under a bushel of shame. May the reality of Christ’s presence & power ignite your passion & purpose…let your light shine!
