whos perfect

Who’s Perfect?

“Nobody’s perfect!” People use this phrase to explain their faults, justify their actions or excuse themselves from any blame. Paul wrote to the Corinthians, “…our prayer is for your perfection.” (2 Cor 13:9)

We define perfection as something or someone who is flawless so the thought of our degenerated nature reaching a state of perfection seems impossible. Paul was praying not for their flawlessness but for their spiritual maturity and Christlikeness. The Corinthians struggled with carnality, weakness and pride yet the power of God’s Word and presence of The Holy Spirit would be the transformational force in their lives. Don’t settle for anything less than perfect…God hasn’t given us anything less than perfect!
